DCP-I Individual & Ensemble

1) Who can perform:

Any and all corps members are welcomed. They will all be judged on the same "sheets" so division isn't needed.

2) Submission:

All you need to "register" is submit is the following:

a. Corps' name

b. Member's name

c. Category in which they will performing

send the submissions to me or Jeff (both at DCPFantasy@hotmail.com). I will be running the I&E.

3) There is no limit the number of categories you can enter, in fact, you can even have multiple members in the same category. Minicorps is the only category in which only one (1) is allowed per corps.

4) Categories:

The categories you can enter are as follow:

Soprano (sorry, no trumpets)

Mellophone/Alto/French Horn

Baritone/Euphoniums

Contra (sorry, no tubas)

Brass Ensemble

Rifle

Flag

Colorguard Ensemble

Auxillary

Snare - solo

Multi-tenor - solo

Tympani - solo

Keyboard - solo

Bass Ensemble

Cymbal Ensemble

Keyboard Ensemble

Mixed Percussion - solo

Mixed Percussion - ensemble

MiniCorps (aka Mixed Ensemble, max. size = 21)

5) Judging.

It will be completely random so you don't need to do anything else but 2).

The members will be judged this way:

Solos will be judged on two critiera: Performance (50) and Execution (50).

Ensemble groups will be judged on: Performance - Brass & Percussion (30 points each, then averaged), Execution (40) and General Effect (30).

6) Have fun with the results.
