chris7240 Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 (edited) The Marauders inagural season was without a doubt a success. We ended our season in 25th place with a final score of 92.353. The corps started off the season strong, but with all young corps, there a certain hurdles that are harder to cross than others. "The Sounds of Broadway" provided a great vehicle for the corps to entertain crowds night after night. The corps only had 6 age-outs, so we expect to have a veteran laden organization next year. The entire staff will be returning for the summer season. After a couple of weeks of rest, the creative staff will hole themselves up in a hotel to figure out what next seasons program will be. An announcement can be expected sometime later this month. Furthermore, the Board of Directors of the Marauders would like to announce the formation of the Shadow Mountain Youth Organization (SMYO). The SMYO will operate the Marauders, and a Division 2 and Division 3 corps. The corps names, staffs, and shows for the two new corps will also be announced later this month.
