Matthew
The Tri-Color staff have been working very hard with putting together a great program for the 2005 season, and decided it would be great to perform something outside of the classical realm they had been "stuck" in for the past few seasons. After long hours of thinking and pondering over what would work for this season, they decided to field a Latin show. El Rosal takes the listener through Spain, and South America and brings us a colorful painting of the culture and bright atmosphere throughout the countries. Colorguard is able to show off their lyrical dance movements in "Oblivion" which transitions into the "Libertango" where the wind section of the corps takes over with powerful tango staged drill. This entire show is one big fiesta, colors are constantly being flashed...One can taste the authentic food, and experience the festival dances. Movement I. - La Fiesta Mexicana Movement II. - Concerto de Aranjuez Movement III. - Oblivion Movement IV. - Libertango Movement V. - La Rosa/El Salon Mexico Colorguard designs are underway, and we are proud to announce that all of our flags will be hand painted this season. Tri-Color is looking forward to another strong season, and we know you will enjoy your journey through Spain, and Latin America!
