Not sure if you're ready to spend the summer living on the road? Not sure if you can afford that large membership fee? Didn't make the cut for your favorite corps this season? Join the NEW Appalachian Sound Brass & Percussion Ensemble in east Tennessee! Appalachian Sound is a new developing drum & bugle corps program which will begin as a standstill group made up of talented youth ages 12-21 (brass, percussion, guard). You'll get to experience some of the same thrills and educational benefits as drum corps with less time involved and at a fraction of the cost! Rehearsals will take place on weekends (Sat. 12pm-8pm and/or Sun. 2pm-8pm) and we will perform at various events around the region including the possibility of an exhibition pre-show performance at a local DCI show! Over half of our staff has top 12 drum & bugle corps experience and we look forward to pushing you to the peak of your potential while having lots of fun learning and playing with other talented youth…just like you!
