wow! it's amazing how much longer that show feels with the long intro and stuff--- crazy question but is there any risk of timing penalties on that? I think Crown is super impressive both visually and musically--- they absolutely belong @ or near the top IMO

hehe... yeah I haven't heard many announcers get the timing right there-- seems tricky

nah- i did enjoy the cadet's show and i agreed with their placement on finals night- i was more saying that your continuation of someone elses statement "all anyone ever talks about is the cadets show."... with ..."Yeah, because it was great" was possibly not the PRIMARY reason that people were talking about the show- i know- i was here...

yeah... only the bluecoats havnt lost key staff members, changed their percussion style, and have a new drill writer... but other than that... just like SCV...

freakin crap... i come home after a long day and i just want to see if someone put up a review of the bluecoats show thing last night... and i get this.... i mean good grief people. Its like you (plural you referring to those who are offended by hype) are the dorky guy at the superbowl party who feels that its necessary to remind the actual NFL fans that cheering for the Television set wont earn their team any more points... yeah! its pretty obvious that bluecoats fans and supporters "hyping" up for the season thats going to start tomorrow WON'T actually cause the bluecoats to get a higher score in any way whatsoever... you arnt telling us anything, and we arent wrong for being excited. maybe being excited and optimistic is something that we actually enjoy... as crazy as that sounds... i'm gonna go ahead and say that MOST people on DCP are "homers" for some corps... some more vocal than others... have you seen how many people have "phan-" or "mad-" in some part of their name? as far as i'm concerned they can hype their corps all day long... doesnt bother me at all. to me the problem comes with the SPIRIT of the message... is the person positve or negative? something positive might be "corps X is awesome... they are going to have a super year and will hopefully place well" vs. something negative like "corps x is awesome... way better than corps y and Z, those groups deserve to drop a few spots because they just don't ___" and from what i've observed, everything on this thread has been of a VERY positive nature... no corps were bashed, no insults where hurled.. until homers from other corps decided that there was a little "too much" hype for the bluecoats' and something needed to be done about it...
