Percussion827 Posted March 26, 2006 Share Posted March 26, 2006 Shenandoah Sound Drum and Bugle Corps from Sterling, Virginia are looking for members for this upcoming season. We have openings in all sections. The Brass could use 2 more sopranos, another Mellophone, 3 more Baritones, and 2 Contras. The percussion needs at least 1 more Snare, 1 more Tenor, and 4 Bass Drummers. The Pit needs about 3 more Mallet Players, a Tympanist and one or 2 people for the Rack. Our Percussion Equipment consists of Yamaha Battery (5sn, 3tn, 7bass but we only have 1 of each on the field right now and want to march 2 or 3 sn, 1 tn, and 4 bass), an Adams 4.3 Octave Marimba, a Yamaha Vibraphone, and assorted Cymbals, and accessores. Dues are very reasonable and the experience will last a lifetime. The show this year is really good and more members would allow us to really compete with the "big boys" of Class "A".
