Phantom not at DCI Indy?!

Recommended Posts

LOL have you seen the parking lots for BOA? The regional has 30+ bands....many with 18 wheelers. Grand Nationals has 90+ bands over the 3 days with the same scenario. Not much different, sorry, but its not.

well, except that not all of those groups are parked in the lot at the same time. Nor are they all warming up at the same time or for as long as they need to.

Everything at BOA is scheduled, from when the kids get dropped off, to when they can unload the truck, to when they can start warm up, etc. The busses and trucks are NOT parked in the stadium lot, they were parked at the zoo. So, yes, it is different.

You are right, they are not at the stadium lot...those are for loading and unloading only. The main parking (when not in the warm-up/performance schedule) is a few blockes away at the Zoo and near the State building since the 'usual' parking is where the new stadium is currently under construction. A majority of the busses, truckes, etc. are parked there.

Regardless, the parking situation is not directly related to the corps that are performing in Indy...
