MHSmirage
Now that most of us that were on tour are back home, what life lessons did you learn on the road this year and what will you remember from summer 2006? For me: - survived one of the hotest summers on record - sunblock hurts when reapplied after burning - never trust that the vehicle you start tour on will be the one you end tour on (I am a proud survivor of SDub Tour 2006) - family is what you make of it

capregrookie05
How to TRULY push myself. I got a stress fracture in spring training and ended up marching on it for a good month of tour. I decided to make the best decision for my next marching years and help the corps on the sidelines rather than injure myself further. It sucked, but now I get my full 3 years to play with. I got to stand on the sidelines in full uniform at finals, and the corps still treated me with so much respect. I'll never forget it. It's because of all the family and friends I made there that I will be going back until I age out.
