leadsop97 Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 ah yes, 2002.... with that year we saw Magic absolutely dominate division II. We saw Capital Regiment who had an absolutely amazing show. and the Mandarins who were very good, all move up to division 1. After that there was the Vanguard Cadets, who had a verey entertaining show, the Spartans who technically played 1 of their 4 Roman shows (everyone always says it's something Roman, but in reality it's not) and Esperanza who made a killer first impression at their first DCI finals. however, after, I would not say that the corps were really all that memorable for me personally. I liked ECJ's show, but I'll be honest, it just wasn't that good. The quality of the top 6 might have been better that year only because of of the top 3, and I know a few people who marched Spartans in 02 who would probably agree with me, that after that, the corps this year were definitely above and beyond where the bottom 6 corps were in 2002.
