mello_laurel Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Fred Ford has been the assistant director for about 15 years, Tom's been with Malden drum corps since long before the birth of ECJ. Dating back to the 70s, he was involved with the Ambassadors, the Diplomats, the Guardsmen, the Royal Marquis and most recently the East Coast Jazz. Actually, Al (Berdie) LaFlamme is the founder and continues to be very involved with the corps, but Peter LaFlamme has directed the corps since 1980. This can be found on the Spartans' website.
