Ya know, playing Maynard is such a great idea, that I'm starting to worry that it's almost TOO great an idea.

How can you choose just the right tunes? As I think about it, you can do any one of about 50 different Maynard pieces.

You can do a whole "Latin Maynard" show.

You can do a whole "Pop Art Maynard" show.

You can do a whole "Broadway Maynard" show.

You can do a whole "Maynard at the Movies" show.

You can do a "History of Maynard" show (just like Catchin Some Rays).

Jerry already has a handful of Maynard arrangements that were great EVEN BEFORE you add Joey and Ritchie.

It's a good problem to have, but be ready for every Drum Corps Dipstick to come up to you all year saying. "I think you shoulda played...X"

I will suggest one thing: Tell the Drum Corps world that you're playing "La Fiesta" and you can just sit by the phone mailing out applications for the next 4 months.

I just want to know any of what we're playing. But I'm sure our design team will pick the right show and mix of Maynards charts for us.

Although......I really do like the thought of playing La Feista. That would be incredible.
