dugg Posted December 31, 2006 Share Posted December 31, 2006 (edited) after a year hiatus from wgi,the san jose raiders world guard will present "in wartime" by pulitzer prize winning composer david del tredici. a show inspired by pablo picasso's famous mural "guernica".choreography by mark metzger,staging by jay murphy.they currently have 30 performers in their cast. I had a friend who used to joke he was going to play Simba in the show.. heh. I used to joke back with my Raiders friends that if they did the Lion King that NL would be doing Little Nemo (Cause the composer is Thomas Newman, a favorite of Joe Sowders). Someone told me what Fantasia was doing... but I don't remember now. Vanguard is doing Bartok: Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste. I cannot WAIT to see Raiders coming out again....
