Madison Scouts Alumni ALS Benefit: April 28th

Recommended Posts

MADISON SCOUTS ROCKIN FOR A CURE is an ALS Benefit founded in 1999 by Steve Weekes, a former alum and instructor of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. Steve lost his battle with ALS in 2005. However, Steve made it clear that the ALS Benefit should carry on as an opportunity to bring together the Madison Community while supporting ALS research.

This year, the 7th Annual ALS Benefit will feature three bands, comprised mainly of Madison Scouts Alumni, a performance by the Madison Scouts, and a raffle and silent auction with over $10,000 in auction items. All proceeds go to the ALS Therapy Development Institute for the Augie's Quest Project of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

ROCKIN FOR A CURE is an event carried out by Madison Scouts Alumni. We hope that you will join us in our battle to cure ALS by attending the event, making a donation, or donating items to our Silent Auction. Donations are fully tax deductible under the law.

ALS is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. More info available at www.rockinforacure.org

The ALS Benefit is April 28, 2007

Location: The Coliseum Bar Banquet Room

232 Olin Avenue

Madison, Wisconsin
