The corps is based in La Crosse, WI and are currently in the early stages of spring training at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Blue Stars boast one of the finest brass staffs in drum corps. They are led by DCI hall of fame member Donnie Van Doren, the man who helped bring The Cadets and Star of Indiana to several high brass honors in the 80's and 90's and a place in drum corps history as some of the finest hornlines ever. The Blue Stars are one of the original founding corps of Drum Corps International. The corps surged back into Division I competition in 2006 placing just two spots out of finals. They will definitely push for a finalist position in 2007 with their production "Power & Grace" As a member of the Blue Stars, you will become a part of 42 years of rich history and tradition.
