Member Corps?

Recommended Posts

If you check http://www.dci.org/corps/,

you'd see 23 corps on the "member corps" list, including Capital Regiment, which is now inactive for the 2007 season;

but what about the other 3 now inactive (for 2007 season) corps--KK, Esperanza, and the Magic?

Apparently they are not "member corps" now. What's the difference between Cap Reg and the other 3?

Oh, btw, have KK found their equipments back?

Could it be the inactivity for more than one season. I believe DCI allows one season of inactivity, but after that you lose membership and have to begin again at the Div. II/III level. I recall this being the case for Magic the last time they came back. If they come back yet again, they'll be like zombies. You can't kill a zombie.

Yes I believe in the case of KK being inactive for a second year is most likely why they are not listed.

As for Magic and Esperanze? I imagine that DCI officials know things we don't, including financial problems, status of things, and that it's likely one or both may never field again. :(

also - they didn't make semifinals - does that have anything to do with it?
