  1. Great performances tonight by the corps. Round of applause to all.
  2. That blue stars show has gotten much better. I enjoyed that.
  3. Does anyone know if Boo is doing a live blog from San Antonio?
  4. This feed is terrible. Sound is good, but choppy fuzzy pic.
  5. Watching San Antonio on Fan Nretwork

  6. DCI deserves major props for bringing Finals Awards and Retreat to the masses via the web. I am very grateful! It was very emotional even on the web. I also want to thank DCI and all the corps for promoting this art and helping kids learn so much about themselves and what they can accomplish. I just keep praying that we will see music programs continue in US public schools. There have been too many cuts. Thanks, DCI!
  7. I congratulate the Blue Devils on a great year of hard work! I also salute all the corps who worked so hard this year.
  8. Prayer for Ryan and his family. Bless his heart. I can only imagine the pain and suffering he endured. From a medical view, I believe he likely had several smaller stresses or injuries throughout this season. The severe pain should have been an indication to the corps medical staff that he should be further evaluated and maybe released from marching. Likely, he fell as a result of the simultaneous fracture along several lines in his tibia. Compound means multiple fracture points in the bone. I am sure he will recover well, but what a trooper he was. I am sure he likely insisted over and over that he was just fine and that he could march. This is what most corps members do for the brothers and sisters. They are so sacrificial and giving. They don't want to let anyone down. I cast no blame on the Crown medical team, but this may result in a review of their medical review and procedures, which is a really important thing when you think about how much these kids endure. God bless Ryan, his family and caregivers. Keep him in your prayers. There is no supportive family like corps family.
  9. I don't think booing is ever helpful in anyway. It will never lead to anything good. This is especially true in a Drum Corps competition. Booing at a corps is just not kosher- no matter how much you don't agree with their program or scores. Regardless, the kids in all corps have worked the butts off and don' t deserve booing. Same goes for the staff and officials. I say NO to booing in drum corps, and really to anything else. I think it is rude.
