N.E. Brigand
Eat to the Beat 2018 For those not watching DCI Finals, I see that Fusion Core is hosting a show tomorrow at this location: Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. It's billed as "a night of music and culinary delights". These corps are listed as performing in exhibition: Cabs Alumni, Skyliners Alumni, and Saints Brigade. And these corps are listed for competition: Erie Thunderbirds, Skyliners, Connecticut Hurricanes, White Sabers, and Fusion Core. The doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the performances start at 7:30 p.m. If you're attending, let us know how it goes!
Fran Haring
Just a slight correction... the corps performances begin at 7 PM. Caballeros Alumni are the first corps on at 7, followed by Saints Brigade, the DCA lineup, and then Skyliners Alumni. Let's hope the weather is OK.

Fusion should update its web page, which says "Drum Corps Show starts at 7:30 pm". Wait ... lower down on the same page it does say "DCA Competition 7pm - 9:30pm". So yeah, they should update the page to be consistent and correct. 1

Both Sabers and Fusion had good runs. Somehow, the rain eased up and the show got in. Kudos to the Fusion Core folks for doing a great job running the event despite the tough weather situation. I guess there was some rough weather in those parts? My mom and sister had their flight out of LaGuardia canceled last night; they're still waiting to get out. Yep... it rained most of the day before the show... especially the few hours just before the show started. The schedule got scrambled a bit as a result. But all went well, considering the conditions. It helped that the turf field at the venue was in great shape, and drained well.
