  1. I just saw this on the internet and this might be helpful or might be a potential project for some folks out there. It shows how you can build a mute. It's not just an ordinary mute but one similar to the Yamaha Silent Brass mute. DIY mute making Maybe someone here made one at home too. Post it here. I wanted to build one too, though not like that one on the link. Rather a much more simpler one without the wirings and stuffs. Thanks and God Bless!
  2. I used a kingsmen 2 valve King baritone last year... Awesome horn..
  3. Hi all, do any of you know where I can get some CD's of USNA? I really want to hear them b**bs Is there anywhere in the internet where I can download them? Thanks very much!
  4. I wish we could participate on that said event because we haven't performed at a far province like Bohol yet since the start of the corps. Bohol is very far from the us here in Manila, I think they still use single and V/R bugles because I once saw a corps in Cebu on the internet that were only composed of about 6 brass and they're al using valveless bugles. I never heard that there are corps in Bohol until now. Maybe because Manila is the capital of the Philippines that's why we're somewhat updated to the corps overseas with the help of the internet. ^_^
  5. It's ok! At least we have it now.. Actually they dont care about our instruments anyway :P Hey Mr. Pat, If you could only see the guy in blue holding the Dynasty contra.. He's sweating very hard.. :P He wanted the smaller one rather than the Kanstul one who's much bigger. He thought the smaller is lighter.. But, I guess he's wrong :P
  6. Yes, it did gave us some.. Especially the drum corps community in the Philippines.. and including me :P
  7. I'm sorry about the mtv thing.. I guess I typed it wrong... I think I should've type 'music video' rather than typing the letters 'mtv'... My apologies...

  10. Hey all, The Spirit of San Nicolas Drum & Bugle Corps had been able to be in a music video for a popular rock alternative band in the Philippines. We were not required to play in the video. We've just been told to act goofy and silly in the video You might notice: the cymbal guy in yellow (with tape on the bottom of the cymbals. They blurred it for people not to notice) We had no cymbals at that time because the cymbals we ordered just came some weeks after the video shoot. :( the guy holding the bells.. Anyways feel free to comment on it :P
  11. I saw one on ebay a week ago. Try looking there.. I even saw a triple cup last week. I don't know if it's a Parduba though ^_^
  12. Is there any place in the Internet where can I download the videos of the I & E's? ^_^
  13. Nice one! :P I guess I'll wait for the 1st guy or gal to answer..
  14. Is that a drum corps? the Kathmandu Krushers? Nice name.. So sad..
  15. Maybe they should put it in drum corps if I were them. The war i mean... Just to think about it, hmm...
  16. I think your right! Also, I forgot to tell everyone that the boxes that came from ebay are stock mouthpieces that was pulled off from new instruments. Yes, they are original equipments from new horns that was maybe refurnished or fixed. It's really ok even though it has no brand name, as long as it feels right to my lips, I'll stick to it! the inner cup is darker than the outer nickled part of the mouthpiece. It really looks shiny in the outside and darker in the inside. I really appreciate all of the comments from all of you!
  17. Thanks a lot for those awesome suggestions and replies from all of you! I very much appreciate it. It helped a lot in my playing! Especially the pedals! here's the long awaited pics of the mouthpiece... rim cup 12c Here's the engraving that says: 12c overall look here's the over all look of the mpc... So, what do you think of the brand of it? Any comments will be acknowledge!

  20. Also, the email alerts and notifications go directly to my bulk folder... ?
  21. I like it too! Although it just takes time to load, the old DCP was more faster then, or maybe my PC is taking too much because of the downloads... :P Keep up the good work! Now, we can say that DCP is the 'number one' drum corps one stop, all around site and shop. :P b**bs Don't worry there's no sugar :P
  22. Awesome! Do you know where could I get a recording of it?
