  1. The silence from DCI is deafening. I can see Vanguard being "Pioneered" before they get a chance to do it themselves. The top five reasons that non profits fail are... Lack of a Plan Unrealistic Expectations Lack of Leadership No Money Failure to adapt I think they pretty much tick all those boxes.
  2. Good run... Problem is Phantom and Mandarins had GREAT runs... I honestly rank it Mandarins, Phantom and then Cadets
  3. BOLD STATEMENT ALERT... That battery might just be the best battery I have ever seen... And I am willing to die on that hill.
  4. Well deserved.... JW has been a revalation for The Mandarins.
  5. You have GOT to be kidding me.. This crap should have gone on AFTER the top 4!
  6. Not so sure about that last bit I'm afraid... Colts and Troopers ain't going anywhere anytime soon... BK has a long and rich history as a finalist. The only somewhat shaky spot in Top 12 moving forward I see is MAYBE Blue Stars, but shaky being a relative term. They too are a very solid organisation and will no doubt not make the same design mistakes they made this year. I think THIS year was the best chance for some years to come. Sure Vanguard might make it back (I am not holding my breath for 24) but theres no guarantee they come back the same and as a guarnteed lock for finals... further crowding the top 15
  7. I'm not seeing these ads everyone keep talking about... I am however watching from the UK on a VPN with an ad blocker.. I wonder if that may be the cure?
  8. I reckon Mandarins just opened a gap there. Cadets better be REAL good tonight if they want to beat that.
  9. Telling you... JW Koester and Co are creating a MONSTER in Sacramento. This corps is only going one direction in the future and that's up. That future seems to be now.
  10. Going back to Cavies for a second... I figured out what it is taht bothers me about that show... Straight leg. Cavies have ALWAYS been a bicycle step corps. It just looks weird to me to see them marching straight leg
  11. That WAS a tear in the opener but nicely recovered. Overall this just felt safe to me though... Good, not great.
  12. Fair play... the kids are handling the elctronics issue like pros.
  13. Well done... for such a young group, that could have seriously derailed them.
  14. I am friends with Jason their Exec Dir... and no this is not the case. It's actually closer to 130.
  15. Id buy that if their execution was significantly higher than the content score... they were 16th is execution as well. Love Troopers... LOVE this show but theres a part of me that sees this year as a wasted opportunity. That visual program as a whole is probably costing them 2-3 points a night. Its the difference of having BK a bit too close for comfort and beating Cavies.
  16. So to start things off.... Commentary from last night seemd to be that Troopers had a bad run... I reckon they got that out of their system last night and tonight is much better... Good enough to catch Colts and lasso that elusive 90? I reckon so and THAT is my Reliable Rondo prediction for this evening.
