  1. I see what you're saying, but if you sound "bad" in front of a judge wether it be because of tuning or just plain being a tick, the judge is going to give a low score. But, like I said, I understand your point
  2. I think not...the post is titled "Biggest messups in DCI history?" I don't see the word "show" anywhere in the topic. I think I hit a little close to home on this one.
  3. Hey, I got one...how about all of those people that got cut from the respective corps that they are talking about in this post? Those are pretty big "messups" in my eyes.
  4. To me, the difference between "bad" and "dirty" is very minute. The term "dirty" is almost a further definition of "bad". In the grand scheme of things, I think the terms are interchangeable.
  5. 15 snares in '03...I thought they did a pretty good job of it. From where I was, it sounded like they nailed it on semi's. The drumline in '02 was really good...one of the cleanest snare lines of the year IMO.
  6. Bad tuning can make clean drumming sound bad. You ever drummed next to a guy that has his drum tuned way higher or lower than yours? (i.e. A guy in my college line dropped his drum several times and screwed up the tension rods...it never sounded the same as the other drums after that.) Even if you're playing exactly with that person, it will sound bad.
  7. Well, they're STARTING with 11 snares. Every year since some time in the mid 80's at least one person in the drumline has left during the season...normally because of injury. I'm not trying to jinx them or anything, I really want to see them keep these numbers. I'm just saying...
  8. Hey, that was my prediction...get your own. ^0^
