just curious.... what div 1 costs the same as LER? LER has never charged much and everyone I know from other corps paid so much more than what LER costs. I agree with Gold Bond, I have believed since the beginning of my involvement with drum corps that DCI was trying to eliminate div 3. Div. 2's are bigger and sometimes move up to the coveted Div 1, it is harder to work ur way up from div 3

This isn't really an urban legend or anything, but I thought it was an interesting story. During finals week this summer, a few friends of mine from Pioneer told me that they were at a laundromat and there was a shooting out front and a couple people saw it. I'm not sure if these members were just telling me stories or what but still scary.

Didn't they do "Uninvited" in that Blast 2 show? Maybe I'm thinking of a different song by her.

I would like it if div. 2/3 got onto PBS, but knowing the world of drum corps it probably would have been shown at the exact same time as the ESPN2 coverage of div. 1 finals. I hate being stepped on in the drum corps world, after feeling like I've accomplished so much and not getting any recognition for all of the hard work after every season, I doubt that I will be coming back to corps this summer. Even at my school, the div. 1 kids get special treatment and the rest get treated like they are hardly capable of high school marching band just like everyone else. This is sort of off-topic, but it was really disappointing to go to div. 1 finals after being at div. 2/3 finals... quite a difference.
