I miss hearing all the corp songs that were played while leaving retreat.

In the 1985 27th Lancers a fellow contra player and I wound up in each others spots at the end of the drum solo and instead of switching back we just marched in each others spot till the end of the show. The staff and judges never noticed. It was quite a feat marching the wheel in a new spot.

I remember back when Dave R was a young (15 or so) rookie mello player in the 27th Lancers. He was a great kid.

I think most corps' scores would drop dramatically if they all put those stripes down their legs again like in the old days. When you were out of phase it showed even in black pants.
