  2. Interesting note from @CorpsScores on Twitter: https://twitter.com/CorpsScores/status/904137525295538176
  3. Scores tomorrow night will be done at the end. Like today, minus the Class A and couple Open, lol...
  4. It's always amazing what can happen with the weekenders vs the kids who go full throttle drum corps everyday for a summer. Keep that in mind when comparing. Bucs are weekend warriors.
  5. Guess we're gonna get the rest of the scores after the Bucs are done, lol...
  6. I'm sure they've done a lot of things, but there's always a drive every year to prove that the best corps is not always in the Northeast *ducks flying objects* I mean this post in the most positive way possible.
  7. Before I forget... Congratulations to all the corps this year who battled through a lot of "behind the scenes" hardships. We all know about Sky and what happened with them, but there were some other corps that were able to weather the storm and get to Championships. To the few that weren't able to make it, we look forward to seeing you in Williamsport next year!
  8. I still have my "Don't Suck" pin, and my "Give me a horn and get the heII outta my way" Art of Loud shirt!
  9. Correct. It's mostly a Northeast USA activity. There are several from outside though, and there have been many throughout the years. To add: The topic of corps from outside the Northeast and the corresponding topic of relocating DCA Championships is quite interesting. There are threads here on DCP.
  10. Update: A Class Scores Chops Inc - 74.10 Southern Knights - 75.18 Erie Thunderbirds - 75.73 Govenaires - 80.10 Cincinnati Tradition - 80.60 Open Class Scores Hurricanes - 79.78 Carolina Gold - 81.00 Skyliners - 82.23
  11. Yeah. The Jr. Corps are a little easier to do that with since those are mostly college kids and they don't have school during the summer months. The Sr. circuit is harder, as mentioned, due to the weekenders and having to take vacation at work and such.
  12. A judged exhibition could always be thrown in. Give them a score, but it wouldn't "count" per se.
  13. It'd definitely be a challenge to get this done. Kids in college and stuff, but I remain hopeful that someday a DCA corps will make their way over.
  14. Give and take right? I'm sure the fans over there would be highly supportive and would love to see what our groups have to offer.
  15. Well, KS comes over on a somewhat "holiday" break. 2 weeks, they do some touristing, corps it up and go back over. Yes, DCA is weekenders but if it was worked out, I could see the possibility of a DCA corps pulling off a venture across the pond for a show and championships there. Lots of logistics though.
  16. Maybe it should be in the works to send a DCA corps over to Europe and see how they fare...
  17. Or you could go back to old school drum corps.... Thunderbirds are still on G bugles and no electronics.... It can be done.
  18. Following along on twitter, Hurcs were on before Sky
  19. Updated 4:41pm A Class Scores Chops Inc - 74.10 Southern Knights - 75.18 Erie Thunderbirds - 75.73 Cincinnati Tradition - 80.60 Open Class Scores Carolina Gold - 81.00
  20. All they had to do was switch Govies and Gold then the intermission would make sense. Class A in "block 1" then onto the Open Class.
  21. Wait a minute... So Carolina Gold is Open Class but on in performance order before Govies who are Class A? I understand the scores "ranked" them for the performance order but keep the classes together. That's just a bit unfair to Gold, dontcha think?
