  1. Hey Jerald, you are drowning here buddy. You have insulted one of the top judges in the entire circuit. I don't know if you've ever had the priveledge of being judged by Mr. Mitchell (from your signature I assume not), however, I don't think you would be picking a fight if you had. I'm sure that a few more comments made will lead you to Parts Unknown my friend.
  2. Wow, go Cabs. Those pics are great. How come no pictures of the contras? Looks like alot of members from the alumni corps were out in full force showing their support.
  3. I heard the dragon overslept. My friend showed up to the open house and came back with a different story. This isn't a bashing of the renegades. I love them. I just wish they were more accurate with their information. I am still waiting for 1 corps to be 100% accurate with the information they post on here during the winter months. Again, please don't take this as a flame of the Renegades (although it probably will).
  4. Ted, here I am on a message board offering my praise and best wishes on Mustard City Legend and you are potentially threating me? And to bust me in my Chops (Inc) isn't cool. To Scott Rhodes and crew, awesome staff again. I look forward to seeing you at DCA south this summer.
  5. Just a fan, Ted, just a fan. The Memphis City Legend is getting ready to take off and the fanbase is going to grow and grow. Best wishes for a GREAT 2006!!. Tell Bonny and Hef I said hi.
  6. Wait, you're name isn't Fred? Oh man, now I feel bad. The important thing is that Mason City Legend has a great year. Great staff, Great members, great time. Ned, keep on truckin'. Good luck in '06. The Legend continues.
  7. Wow, awesome staff. Muscle City Legend is definitely a corps on the rise. Good luck guys. I wish guys like Scott Rhodes and Fred Mason would've come out and announced this earlier. I was so impressed with you guys at prelims. Good luck in '06.
  8. wow, as i stated in a previous post, key is writing for both you and renegades. will this cause any animosity or more friendly competition? i think his writing for last year's corps was some of the best in dca since probably 1993 Cabs.
  9. will this be a conflict of interest with the cabs? will key write better for one and not the other? will he mistakenly put the rumps into the renegades' show? key's music is great but is he over extending himself writing for so many corps and bands?
  10. Wow, very classy move Fran. I was hurt when I read your comments because I consider you the voice of DCA. While I am not affiliated in anyway with the Bushwackers or any corps in the circuit, it just seemed like a blow to this corps who had a ton of momentum going into the offseason. The last thing any corps needs is to be bad mouthed and you stepped up and apologized. That was a very cool thing. Now, if only you would apologize for that shirt you were wearing the other day (sorry, I know someone else mentioned it, but I had to get a jab in there). :) Again, thanks Fran for being a class act. Again, to the Bushwackers, great job this weekend and season. You guys are back on the map in a big way. 2nd place after an 8th place finish the year before is one of the biggest stories in DCA this year. Good luck in 2006
  11. Do all DCA corps need to have an honor guard? I didn't see every corps with one but it seemed most had them.
  12. You're kidding right? I was in the stands at finals. While Empire had an incredible season, they were not the 2nd place corps that evening and any attempt to take credit for that is in bad taste, in my opinion. Look at the recaps. I will say that I enjoyed the heck out of your show. It was very entertaining and your guard was amazing (I am a huge fan of color guard). Also, your pit soloists were great. Bush, everyone around me in the stands was cheering for you when you trooped the stands. Not one person was booing. While you guys made an apparent mistake I think some people on here are giving you crap because they just don't like your corps. Plain and simple. It's sad. Awesome season. Looking forward to see what you will give us fans in 2006
  13. My sources told me that Joey was fired from Maynard's Band but i'm not sure the reason. Say it ain't so Joey. We love you. But their loss is our gain. Now we get to enjoy you parked in the pit and wailing away. I heard the Brigs had a few people quiet over the past few weeks and that's why there are holes, but all of them should be filled after D2 and 3 finals are completed this week. Sky was really good this week and probably deserved to be higher. Their drumline was definitely the most technical on the field on Sat night and I had them in the top 3, along with Brigs and Cru. As for Bush's drum major.....yeah, they have had that drum major Chris Kilian for the past few years. I spoke to him after the show. Too bad he is taken. He will make you lose your breath.
