First time I've watched a show in a long time...Mandarins...wow...

if it had been the 1980 Spirit hornline, the bandtastic kids would have had to wear ear protection...and the crowd.

I have the same complaints with Bloo as I do with BD...gimmicks and electronics... I understand why Bloo is changing their shows to look more like BD...it wins..I just don't like it..and I"m a Bloo homer. and..no...Crown hornline doesn't come close to a good G hornline.

so...BD...the hornline is incredible...percussion was yowza... has to be one of the worst electronic packages I've heard..synth was too loud...pit sounded artificial..mic wasn't working part of the time..too much added tone changes to natural sounds... king of the gimmicks...I just wish they'd go back to winning by playing ######## jazz... now...let's see if Bloo can out BD BD...

Crown was YAY! And a Power ending! woowoo! on a technical note, the mic on the trumpet was the best sounding mic job I think I've heard in drum corps...and I don't like mic'ing..

SCV was pretty awesome...opener was outstanding...middle was outstanding...ending was outstanding...

Troopers usually one of my favorites...this year....meh.

My dislike of the narration is GIANT I keep expecting the narration guy to yell.."We have the Meats!" liked the first piece...last blow was ok...rest of the show was kinda...there.

never been a fan of soft endings, but that soft ending was better than most soft endings...

I likey me some Spirit...not 80 Spirit...but it was a little warm and jazzy.
