First of all i think sirf rocked this year... the "real" uniforms make them look so much better... plus those things are hott. Bets thing i have seen from them in years and they really challeneged their colorguard this time... good job. I also would like to compliment Taeipai they were pretty rocking for their first year in finals...they were almost the first international corps to take the title....dammmmmmmmmmmmmmn. Ummmm... OC was actually one of my favorites this season... too bad they got screwed by the judges. And mad props yo to freaking ECJ drum line. Since i never saw their show til the DVD...i knew they were good but MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN... some of those licks...you can jsut tell charlie is their god.... freaking wailing away ECJ Drumline..

OK... can we discuss that academy has not competed against ECJ or Spartans yet. You have no idea the difference that makes...especially since these two have dominated the Division two consecutive years now. Not to mention... west coast shows tend to flat line mid season anyways... You cannot make an ACCURATE prediction until these corps all face each other.... period. End of sentence.

you dont think that citations is good enough?! i think they are doing well enough to be top competors in Div III next year or the year after... they are starting to grow in size and talent...

Hay buddy... i didnt mean any animosity. It was my first gold and me happy to get my gold medal at after marching a bronze season in 2003... and BTMF was a vocal we fooled around with and joked about... and it was truely the funnest one ...especially considering you guys had the FTS vocal... so that is all on my part...again no animosity...i meant the same as you by it...

Thursday night finals... "In second place with a score of 95.625, 95.625 from Malden, Ma....." BTMF... that is all...

Wow i really got you guys all fired up... all i ask is that you rephrase your statements and still... <**> P.s. I was always taught to get my mouth shut by my director of my corps. That is what makes me have class and the bigger person. I can appreciate any show for waht they are attempting. I may not like it and they may "let me down" but i would never verbalize that. And stop talking about being PC. That aggrevates me.....this whole post aggrvates me... this thread has done nothing but anger me. I dont think i made it clear... I am all for your opinion... but you dont have to word in such a way that could be taken as offensive...Think of it this way... if you are going to write something about a corps... think about what you are going to say... imagine a member is standing rigth in front of you from that corps... Would you say that to there face? that is all... just dont be so... heartless... again... focussing on all the work people put into show concepts...

I agree as well...but given that Div II and III house generally younger crowds... You just see it more... I never would have thought i would see it here

Do you people understand how much work people put into these shows? How can you bash the Cadets? The Caviliers? Or the Blue Devils? Say that they are huge let downs? I mean... I sort of expect this fromt he immature audiences in the Div II/III category that bash the top two corps East Coast Jazz and Spartans but most definitely in the Div I catregory. You say the concept of Cadets is not what you expect and are let downs? Have you talked to a member or a staff member and asked about there show? The design concept and the show and what they try to accomplish can be explained and makes more sense when you talk to a member of the corps about what the show is all about. I know that after the show I didnt understand Cadets or Blue Devils! But after talking to memeber sand asking what there show was all about I understood it and what they were doing with their drill design. That is what Staff does to the judges, they explain their show, and the judges then make sense of it and look for it the next time they see them. And calling corps a let down? I would like to see you say that to a corps members face! <**> you wouldnt cuz you would get that negative attitude smacked off your face. I know that people have their own opinions, but say, "I didnt like this show.", or "It wasnt for me." Dont say that "Caviliers Blue devils and Cadets were huge let downs. I would think that if you are going to take the time to write a review, that you be pleasant and not so negative. Once you become so condenscending about a corps show, everyone who enjoyed that show or the members that read automatically are going to ignore everything you said! And I dont think anyone is going to want to waste time on a review to have it ignored. Please...stop with the negativity. Everyone will appreciate it...even the people who YOU "let down" by saying that they "let you down" No offense people... but what a ######## thing to say! WHOEVER WANTS TO GET THE GOD #### RING... IF THE CORPS WANTS IT THEY CAN HAVE IT... WHO THE #### CARES.... I was just looking out for my cousin before, this is ridiculous. My cousin was balling his eyes out all day with pride after they performed saturday... because he did everything he could to make that show amazing. And it was... if the corps wants to get them the divisional championship ring to go with that... it is there choice... ANYONE CAN GET A RING... EVEN KIWANIS KAVALIERS!!! Oldguard... you rock

spartans got the patch and i believe DCI pays for part of the ring... at least...thats what i heard
