  1. How about the staff family tree that runs through the three corps over their history?
  2. Corbin- I have some questions for you. 1. What is it that Crown can do to make YOU happy? 2. You were vocal (last year) about getting rid of the percussion, marching and guard staff…do you want to run those folks off now also as they are not up to your standards of show design and product cleaning? 3. Who do you want to run off this year? The Design Team for putting together a too challenging program for the current members? 4. Since you are NOT HAPPY with Crown’s direction- what music and drill DO YOU want to see Crown do? 5. As an alumni of the corps why don’t you take your displeasure to Mr. Smith and/ or Mr. Coats instead of airing in a public forum? I will state once again- BE PART OF THE SOLUTION AND NOT PART OF THE PROBLEM Now back to your regularly scheduled program………
  3. Think of the possibilities of Mr. Moren writing an original piece for Crown
  4. Has anyone checkout Mr. Bertrand Moren's Facebook page? Some was posted on Crown's FB page also. It seems that he likes what he hears. "Amazing and interesting use of my piece, Dreams ? New march ?" "Incredible! It is already very difficult to play seated ca, then running and jumping is strictly speaking staggering!" (Translated by Bing) I wonder if there is a planned meeting with Corps and Composer?
  5. sadly way too many people care only about the number of championship trophy's sitting in the case at home.
  6. very likely. I remember from the 09 VOD Commentary from San Antonio- that Mr. Klesch made the comment that “every good story needs a conflict and resolution”.
  7. First off....Thanks for the review. Nice to see the show through another set of eyes. REALLY? You don't think the horn book is composed at the highest level??????? How else could one arrange the "Dreams" and "Fanfare" pieces.......except right off the sheets? Listen to the source music. I'm putting my money that (DCI HOF) Mr. Klesch understands and knows how to arrange for his horn line. You can criticize the selection of source music if it's not your cup of tea.....but never could you criticize the arranging.
  8. Kevin- THANK YOU for what you did! It's fun to see the shows through others.
  9. NEW ITEM for sale at The Crown Store.................."Slightly Tossed" brass. Available first thing tomorrow morning.
  10. Your wish will be granted!! Be patient grasshopper......
  11. could this be the "Wild Pony's" from the 07 Triple Crown show?
  12. Hey Tone Quality do you want to discuss how "Pitchy" their sound is?
  13. exactly. It's going to be a good day when you start with your nutritional balanced breakfast of Crown's hornline it has your 4 food groups A little disappointed with poster as the first clip as it ended right before the "Star" HHHHHHIIIIIIIITTTTTTT.
  14. just in time for refreshments! I saw it. It's very entertaining and look forward to seeing it at finals.
  15. I dont know if it real or not......but IT IS funny!
  16. well said I think this show works because of the idea/ theme is open to each individuals interpertation of what "The Common Good" is. kind of an universal theme. Then if your not interested in investing time in searching for show themes.....then there is some great and well written music. The slow building company front in Fanfare has surpassed 09's "Puck" as the best Crown moment IMO. I still get chills when I hear it.
  17. did anyone else notice the camera movement at the release of Fanfare? I did not notice last night, but did this morning.
