  4. Hello everyone, I am looking for people who are intrested in teaching a Pit in Hamilton Ontario. You would have to travel to Hamilton every second weekend. We need someone for E.P.I.C. Percussive Theatre. If you are intrest or want more information please contact me corey.pearce@gmail.com.
  5. As someone once said "Go Biggie or Go Home!"
  6. I am playing tenors. For what I hear there are alot of people coming out to kingston to play tenors. Will you be there?
  7. Not that I am speaking for Gord but my under standing is he will be marching this up coming year but him at 39 (God Bless Gord) and I am planning on marching with him and I will be a young 34.
  8. I was wondering what is the oldest tenor player who just competed in DCA Prelims “A” or Open class. I am throwing Gord from Grennies in the hat at 38. Anyone near that or can bet that?
  9. Well Biggie is getting alittle slow in his old age. I don't really ever come on here but the positive drum corps vibe made me look and is putting me on the field and this year.
  10. Chester85 I would like to thank you for uniting a large group of Ontario fans, members, and instructors. I am proud to say I marched and taught in Ontario, and am going to keep doing both. Teaching and being a member of drum corps has taught me a lot. I have learned from many great instructors and yes I have learned many things from members of corps I have marched with and marched against. I would not change my drum corps past for anything. Along with learning about music and performance the most important thing I have learned from Ontario drum corps is that we are all family here in Ontario, and that only the individual can say what they can and can’t achieve. Finally I don’t agree with anything you have really said. I do understand when you say management should not lie to the member about how they will do, but you and I don’t know who is going to be marching or teaching. So all I really thing needs to be said is “Good Luck”, and I will be buying a ticket to see the Burgundy and Black return to the field.
  11. What area are you from and how far are you willing to travel to march?
  12. I wanted to start a form for and Open Class Corps that is looking to fill a spot. Also if you have not found a place to march yet. Please post what you are looking to play and in what area. This will make it easier for the corps in your area to contact you if they are looking to fill that spot. I am looking forward to seeing a good strong Open Class this year. One last thing I would like to add... I love Open Class because you can't really prodict the top 12 corps like you can in World Class.
  13. HYPE is doing well, membership is growing and progressing. I am excited about the uniforms that we announced at the Conqueror II 25 year reunion. I am proud to be teching there.
  14. St. Johns is still alive. We are gearing up for our christmas parade season. We are still at the same place at the same time every sunday any former or new members are wecome. to stop by and say hi.
  15. Marching teaching in Ontario drum corps for most my life, my fav. would be "The Great White Stick". I am sorry but that is all I can say.
