Oh yes, I know. I've been sending emails as well, but some people are slow responders. I thought I should try here as well.

Ok, when I said "know stuff" I really meant "could potentially have heard information worth further investigation"

To make a long story short, I thought I was not going to be able to do drum corps this summer because a few unexpected circumstances popped up, but now drum corps is back in the picture. I realize my timing is horrible, but people quit all the time right? I’m looking for any pit spots that are still open or not quite set etc. I would prefer division 1 since I do have division 1 experience already, but I’m up for anything at this point. Thanks everyone!

What do you play? If youre looking to be on a hornline you still have time. If you're looking to play snare things might be a bit more difficult, but not impossible by any means. I've hear that Phantom has a few spots up in the air they have only had one camp so far and their next one is in january. The cadets are doing things a bit differntly too. They are keeping spots open untill they find the person they want. It could be you :) I hear Crown also has a few spots that are iffy. It really depends on what you play though. Are you willing to switch instruments? Make some phone calls and write some emails buddy! I hope to see you on the feild this summer :)

Most D1 pits have 4 Marimbas 4 Vibes 1 xylophone 1 timpani 10 players total. Sometimes they include a few general percussion players, but that seems to be on its way out. BD and SCV tend to have 8 or 9 players while Madison and Blue Coats have slightly larger front ensembles (10-12ish)

I need examples of somewhat popular modern songs that use modes. If you know of any songs and which mode its in that would rock! Thanks guys!

Phantom, Mandarins, Blue Knights (kind of), and SCV all have winter guards now. Im wondering why there has been such a spike in winter gurads from drum corps at this time.
