At least your guard made it to the show Andy. Mickey always liked high profile corps and the local Jersey crews. Oh, and also those high profile corps in blue skirts. Many times, he'd pull someone from way out of the area that the locals weren't used to seeing every week. That was always a treat for me. He even had the Kilties in the line-up in 1954. Being in the Dream was a hoot, standing for the results wasn't always pleasant. I won't make excuses for anything, and I'll always love that crowd. A very well informed crowd.
My only major dissapointment with the Dream, was I never got to see that incredible 1966 show.
P.S. Loretto was in the 61 Dream, along with Kevins, Selden, Bracken Cav's and the Bon Bon's.
