  1. Be prepared. When I said as much after Stanford I was cursed, defamed, and otherwise crucified for my opinion.
  2. I always love the accuracy of these rankings once east meets west!
  3. Mostly agree. Takes time and repetitions. They just started cleaning yesterday as they just finished the show on Wednesday. Confidence will do a ton for this book.
  4. Those bones are LOUD! In your face, knock you down loud. The crowd in Mesa was cheering 2 seconds into the hit. One of the loudest moments of the show or the night.
  5. Rumor has it (from strong sources) that they wanted to do another show and not Scheherazade. In the latest backstage they even mention 2 other shows.
  6. Agreed. Must see live to judge. Totally different live. Totally! And now it's finished. They can start cleaning now. Side note, crossmen bored the heck out of me on FN. Really enjoyed them live. Same with BK. This might be a see it in person summer. These shows seem to be more accessible in person.
  7. Very straight forward! That isn't bad, like I said above. They are doing what they will be able to do. Smart staff for knowing their corps.
  8. Power wise that just never blew me over. They tried, just don't have the horses. Complexity wise what they are doing they will be successful at, so kuddos for not over programming, but their comp scores won't ever catch up with the top 6, for example.
  9. Academy has a fun show. Best way to describe it. Closer doesn't seem to fit, but the rest of the show is quite thought out. Pit has a wonderful moment that drew in the whole audience. Fwiw... My wife was not a fan. Said it was open class not world. I can see where she's coming from. Especially after following SCV.
  10. SCV final 2 minutes is very similar to 04. The drill was even a nod to 04. The show needs dawn and a fire hose though. Don't judge any of these shows till you see them live though. I wasn't blown away by any of them on the FN. I was very pleased tonight. Academy coming on the field.
  11. BK has the softest unis in history. I feel like if I had a headache I could look at their uniforms and I would feel better.
  12. Row 21 of 23 side 2 47.5. Drill was nice. Dirty as expected. Members still need a ton of personal control with the technique.
  13. Crossmen just finished. Really enjoyed them. They lack power and complexity, but overall a fun product. Much better than on the fan network.
  14. Absolutely true. I remember carrying my trumpet to summer band in elementary school. It was baaaaad. For what it's worth, there's been cloud cover all afternoon. It's hot but not deathly so.
  15. You guys should go check out Rennick's Facebook page.
  16. I'd be shocked if show b4 the show isn't there too. He usually comes back with lot video.
  17. Lol... I added a link to the weather.com Mesa weather to the original post for those wanting to keep track! Refresh refresh refresh.... Run for the shade. 105 really isn't that bad actually. Yes it's hot, but it was in the 1teens a few years ago. That was gross and pretty much made sure the cadets will never return.
  18. Hoping so. I've heard the ending music, and I really want to see how the vis complements it.
  19. With MANY days off since their last show, will SCV perform their completed show?
