I'm all for amplification being used for pit equipment, but when it comes to narration I'm not so fond of it. In every show to date that has used narration as part of the show, I find the narration to be a distraction. It's kind of like going to a movie and having a little kid three rows behind you start crying.
Not to beat up on the Cadets any more than has already been done, but there show this year is the perfect example of why I don't like narration. I think they have a good show in general, and some excellent playing, but every time they would start talking It was instantly like watching a cheezy late night infomercial.
