What were the "official" fan favorites of DCI D-I? Im new to DCI, so I would like to know what they were since I began watching... This is what I think I know... 2006: Phantom Regiment 2005: Missed that year 2004: SCV Does someone have any of that info since 1985 maybe? Thanks!

Pick one of the stadiums from the West Coast and say why! Also, if you want, say why one of the stadiums would suck. If I am missing a stadium, my apologies. I purposely left out stadiums like Invesco and Arizona because they are technically not on the west coast. Las Vegas isn't either but I thought that would be an interesting choice. My choice would be between... 1. Oakland Coliseum because of Mt. Davis, mild and ideal weather (for me at least) Runners Up: New Stanford Stadium because it's simple and nice Aloha Stadium because it's Hawai'i Seahawks Stadium because it's pretty cool Hopefully this will be possible come 2014! Hey does anyone know if the legacy DVDs sold by DCI (1990s) have exclusive high camera footage like they do in the finals DVDs now? Do they also include award shows? Thanks!

Two questions (well more maybe): Do shows have a "maximum" rating as far as difficulty goes? For example, as far as I know, in gymnastics, the athletes have a Start Value or soemthing of the sort. A gymnast may have set a routine that has a maximum value of 9.5/10, and if he/she does perfectly, they will get that amount of points. When corps design their shows, do they have to aim for a high difficulty show in order to have a chance at winning? I've read posts where people argue that the book of one corps is harder than the other. So if a corps has an "easy" book and execute it perfectly and another corps with a "harder" book and have a couple of flaws, would the corps that scored perfect on it win that caption? Is that was GE is for? Also, what are the main issues that will constitute a penalty? Sorry if the questions have been repeated in the past or if my wording is terrible... Thanks!

Well, I am not an experienced Drum Corps fan, just got really into it a couple of years ago... If my ideas have already been done, my apologies! I am more going to do a general show design idea with no corps really tied to it... As far as music selection, it will be limited, but formation style I will post... Corps: Maybe Blue Devils? Title: Coasts: San Francisco to New York Music Renditions of: "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" and "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra Music selections that match the life and style of the cities - Contemporary Jazz, Blues, etc. Perhaps music selections created by popular/major SF and NY composers. Special Formations: Opening "Ocean Tidal Wave" sequence. (Picture several wave peaks and troughs, where the wave is moving toward the right and the corps members are making it look complex and cool) Example: http://www.allendaviddesign.com/images/sand/Lilac%20Wave.jpg Golden Gate Bridge (or Transamerica Pyramid) that transforms into Brooklyn Bridge (or Empire St. Bldg) - Basically a slick major representation of the two cities SF Giants, NY Yankees/Mets insignias - To make a clear message on what show is about... Those are the major ideas and of course, it can be extended.... If these ideas sound corny and it very well may be, it is just a thought. What do you think?
