  17. Hey just like sharing my take on things and providing another way to look at it all. :) Definitely enjoy playing with you guys, I just need to live about 3 hours closer !!!! But it's great to be able to play with such a mix of corps musicians and musicians from so many different backgrounds.
  18. Love the look, can't wait to see you guys out this year!
  19. Just one thing I've just come to notice/accept is "Drum Corps" just seems to imply the instrumentation of the group, not necessarily that they're a marching group. Like for me when I hear the term 'jazz band' I almost expect to hear saxes playing and such. Classifications are such fine lines and seeing as the line with mini-corps and drum corps is getting thiner and thiner I've just learned to go by what composes the ensemble. Just my two cents while skimming
  20. Haha I've taught Todd's drill at OJR for the past two seasons, there were a lot of corps people at WCU. I know one of my friends who went there marched guard and soprano at Phantom I think in 89 or around then.
  21. Yeah, and they'll be powerful this year too. Mark's a great guy and the staff he brought with him is top notch. Once they get their feet wet in the corps world I'm sure they'll hit the ground running.
