  1. People like to talk, and believe it or not the things that are discussed on this message board or any will not always be positive. Now saying that. It makes me sad to see what happened to Spartans, and I do feel bad for the students that thought they were going to have a "different" experience then they are having. But like you said the only people to blame is the administration, and if i was a member of the Spartans i would be very upset.
  2. "Respect, Responsibility, and Commitment" I think thats the reason why so many members and staff left. They were not seeing those values from the Administration. No one can blame the members for not going back. Its a whole different drum corps.
  3. I guess what Mr. Seidling wrote is awesome if you want to believe loosing 12 years of greatness because of poor administrative choices. After all that time fighting for the top spot I can't understand why there would be such a dramatic change. I guess only time will tell what really happened in Nashua. As far as their mondern fleet i guess thats a matter of opinion.
  4. I think anyone who has tried to help spartans out and had to deal with the administration will have to agree that its to hard. But i guess this shouldn't effect the students.
  5. Spartans were the "big boys" 8 months ago
  6. I think they do, If i was going to be paying thousands of dollars to march some place, i would want to know what is really going on. And its quite obvious that there are many ex-Spartans on this website who are still upset about the whole change.
  7. Well, I was just trying to understand what happened. I did take your advise and look at past threads. I also asked past members about their thoughts on this whole situation and it seems that there has been a lot issues from the administration of the drum corps.
  8. Does anyone know why all the staff left? I've been away form drum corps for a while and I guess I missed A lot.
  9. I think you hit the nail on the head with using the word "consistent" What worries me there is little to nothing the same this year compared to the past 10 years. So how can we except a high level of achievement when it is a completely different drum corps. Then I guess you will have to ask what makes a drum corps a drum corps? members? staff? support staff? administration? Ok I'm done.
