I agree about the driving thing that someone mentioned. I had some running around to do today and it took me an extra 20 mins or so just because I kept missing the turnoffs because I was used to not paying attention... After all that, I didn't know what to do, so I pulled out my trumpet and started practicing. I ended up practicing for about 5 1/2 hours and didn't realize it. I also can no longer practice sitting down, I have to be standing in DC posture.

What does the "A" stand for in "BAC"? I never understood that....

Yes, that is true. I mentioned it in another thread, and got bashed. Everyone told me I was wrong... but nope. Don't underestimate me!!! Hahaha.

According to my sources, the score at everyone's saturday show, whether a regional or not, is the one that sets performance slots for San Antonio. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

One thing... Academy will not be playing first in SA. Their show this saturday (Longbeach I belive?) is their qualifying show. So, perhaps maybe they could be performing first, but they would have to qualify in that spot.

Yes, it causes shin splints, and those suck. You just have to push though the pain as long as it is not to serious. If it is, get to a foot doctor and see if you can get orthopedics or something to put in the insole of the shoe.

You've got to remember too that Academy rehearsed and performed in the Rose Bowl the last two days. That shouldn't really effect the SA show or the July 14 show, but do you think that could give them a slight advantage going into championships week? They got to know the field, the pressbox, the stands, the acoustics of the stadium, they'll be pretty comfortable marching into that stadium on August 9th, the other corps won't have that extra lever of comfort.

I would like to see a picture of them with the guy holding a horn, at attention, on the field. The way he's standing there with his chest out and chin high just makes it look silly.
