I guess my point is that it truly is a matter of opinion and each person has their likes & dislikes. After reading this whole post, I guess I'm a bit puzzled at the anger when it's obvious each person here has a passion of some sort for drum corps. I can't say I dislike Crown's show - it's different as it Phantom's but I am biased and I hope Phantom can clean it up for Pasadena!

Okay - if the birds look stupid then I must admit I found the horse sounds and the hoofing feet a little odd too

I'm hoping Phantom can pull out a win. They seemed to have some issues in San Antonio. They got a penalty and I saw lots of changes in the show. Is it still early in the season to be concerned that their scores don't seem to be improving?

Can someone explain to me how it works when a corps member gets injured during the "season" and they bring someone in to fill a spot. If they get better do they return to their spot or are they out for the summer? Does the person coming in have to pay any type of dues? I am new to all of this but I have a friend going thru this right now. Any guidance would be appreciated. :
