Ive been told but more than a few people that DCI is hoping for and working on getting the DCI orlando show back but in a different location....It would be held on the Campus of the University of Central Florida where they have a brand new stadium! Should be awesome if true!....orlando is such a great market for drum corps as we all know we just need to get around the housing problem which is being worked on im told! anyone know anything?

its gonna be good in scv town next year thats for sure....take crown sound with the great indidvidual talent at scv u have a loud freakin, amazing sounding hornline! cant wait

alli hve to say is that the brass score is not just based off of how the ensemble sounds....the brass judges will get in the bells of the players and hear INDIVIDUAL SOUNDS!!!....IF THEY ARENT CONSISTANT THEN SCORES WILL BE LOWER. ....ensemble sound can still be amazing with inconsistancy in playing ability throughout the hornline...i.e. cavies have better overall individual players so they will beat crown on many occasions...same with BD and cadets.....they just need to be harder in the auditions so they get better talent coming in.

yeah well cavies brass hasnt suffered and they run around like crazy too...if u ask me i'd rather see harder drill witht he smae amount of quality execution in brass than someone easing thier drill asn playing better(even though that is still nice to listen too)....oh and lets not forget they got a 19.4 in brass on finals night...only .4 out of first...haha!

i dont think so..if u count not an opener as thier whole show i would say i was pretty bored most of the time...oh and yeah they stand still like alot of it

percussion maybe yes but brass came in 5th last night beating cavaliers and crown both which most people would say are better than SCV, that they say just has an amazing sound(which they do)....so yeha dunno bout ur analysis......percussion yes though...just need to step it up a couple more notches......but i think scv will continue to improve next year hopefully getting back in the top 3 again.

oh man the complete bottle dance would be amazing but it wouldnt make much sense for theme purposes...especially GE music...but then again it might help it too seeing as it owuld make the crowd throw babies at the members
