  1. They have also ended the ability to review the Finals PPV already. Last year, you could watch through Wednesday or Thursday I believe...this year, the FAQ said it would remain available until "Saturday". I think most anyone with common sense would assume this meant the next Saturday, since finals was on a Saturday. I had planned to watch the multi-cam performance today, but NO GO.
  2. $55/$75 is a lot of money for a lot of people....having that much money is different than the justification of spending that much money. At $40, they still wouldnt be giving it away, but it would make it a lot more accessible. Lets say you do double the subscribers at that price point. The increase in revenue may not be much, but youve just doubled the eyeballs that are watching your biggest event of the year...you cant put a pricetag on that. More eyes on your product leads to more interest, which leads to more media and ticket sales. But for whatever reason, DCI has seemed pretty ok with keeping their big night largely unseen and unavailable (11 years without a live broadcast, 5 years of no broadcast at all until 2013). I am watching it with a buddy (on a delay), so not like Im not paying to see it...I just wish more people could.
  3. They could make more money if they cut the price in half...I mean, Wrestlemania costs less than this, and theres very little concern about the feed going down. Drop the price to $40, youd have over twice as many people buying it. Of course, for this idea to work, you have to talk about it on the website...information about it was not featured prominently on the website until this week (perhaps only today). Youd think they were trying to keep the subscribers down...
  4. Didnt read the whole thread because its become quite lengthy, but thought before even seeing this thread was why not a standard PPV just like you see with boxing and wrestling. If youre going to offer a broadcast, why limit it to a crappy webcast...put it on real television. Better quality broadcast and you can charge more ($50 maybe?). Not like people arent going to invite their friends over to make it cheaper, and $50 is enough that DCI would make money off of it. Another possibility: do the webcast, but make it only available to those who have preordered DVDs. Then more people will preorder the DVDs and pay the early price rather than waiting to get it half off the next summer. Off topic I know, but...if the corps are making royalties off the DVDs/CDs, wouldnt it be helpful if DCI actually made all of these products available? It looks like they basically get a couple of batches made, and when that runs out, they are gone forever. For example, in their online store, you can no longer purchase CDs from 2000, 2004, 2005, 2007, or anything before 1999. Why?
  5. Have the first half of the Legacy Series up for sale, 1974 through 1986. These are all still sealed and never viewed. I am willing to sell these seperately or as a total package. Im asking $26 for one year, $50 for two, $75 for three, etc. This price includes shipping. I realize I havent posted on this site much and may not have the "rep" of other posters, but my ebay feedback is over 950 and all positive (search for "endguy")...hopefully thats worthy of some cred :). I do accept Paypal. Also may be able to add 1987 to the list of those available. Email me if interested!
