  1. Hello, Anyone know on the computer how to get rid of the bar and controls on the bottom or are they just always there....tried clicking off and everything but nothing gets rid of the bar and menu... I know minor annoyance but it just distracts me.....
  2. I agree with you that it is very frustrating to still be searching out scores over a week after the show. The same thing happens in the NYSFBC as well. But I do know that it is the practice of most competitive organizations or their webmasters to wait for official scores from the show host or the judging association. I myself being a webmaster for a competitive organization have had to wait for upwards of a week to post scores for a completed competition. In the interim I had received emails from parents and fans with scores but I was very hesitant to post as I was uncertain of the accuracy of them. On two seperate occasions I did in fact receive wrong scores from sources. Whether they were typos or recorded wrong I was very happy I had waited for official recaps. So to answer your question it is mostly in the show hosts hands as to getting the scores released. In fact if you hop over to the NYSFBC website there is a great little blurb because with their site the show host logs in and actually posts the scores. But even with that system there has sometimes been delays of up to two weeks in posting scores. I cannot 100% fault the show host for a delay, especially for a couple of days. I am not going to lie....if I had just finished running a successful show with 10-20 groups and had a huge clean up ahead of me the emailing/posting of scores would be low on my priority list. So my question is what do we do? If you are a webmaster you wait a few days? Email the host? Call them? And then what do you do if they still don't send them to you? It's a difficult question without a simple answer. I believe that's why sites like this truly exist. It is a great resource to get out scores and reviews of shows. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the review of phoenix as I could not make the show and was really interested in how everyone was doing early in the season. Even if the scores were posted I would not have gotten the great review and for that I am greatful for this site! :) Pete C
