Yea like I believe that im 90% sure that Im willing to relocate but Im saying that now but we'll see when it comes to crunch time. But like Im just not sure what I want to do. I havent found anything thats just like...."Wow.....I wanna do that for the rest of my life" (other then colorguard) I mean like Sociology and Public Relations and all this stuff interest me buts its not like Wow I've worked at Ruby Tuesdays for a year and 4 months so I have a job but idk haha im just confused. Thank yall so much for all this help!

Oh yea don't get me wrong. Im def. planning on doing DCI. Im trying out for Carolina Crowns colorguard in Nov.

Ok. Hi I'm Mason and I'm a senior at Colonial Heights High School in Colonial Heights, Virginia. I'm going to be graduating this year and still have no idea what to do with my life.....except that I want to be a guard instructor. Now, here is my dilema, my mom is flipping out cuz we both know that being a guard instructor will not pay the bills. But I know down in NC there are colorguard classes during there some of there school days. How rare is this? Is it hard to get a job being a guard TEACHER? How do I ensure my mom about this? What kind of stuff can I do with guard that actually will pay the bills? (Now this is the stupid question) Do corp directors and techs get paid or what? Cuz it'd be my dream to be a DCI Guard Instructor :P Please let me know so that my mom can take a chill pill -Mason Lemocks

I would choose something from Crown too, its a plus that they play popular music too with a modern twist....Crown 2004 "Bohemia" is my favorite choice to show my friends

What ever happened to the world(or where they open? or a?) group, The Study, from Bassett, Virginia? I loved their 2003 "Phobia" show. Gosh Duffy is a genius and my guard loves "7 Deadly Sins". I thought that they were pretty successful so why'd they fold? Just wondering, anyone know?

Ive seen a few "Wild Horses" by Natasha Bedingfield this year :) i love that song, i really wanted to do a guard show to it! Theres this guard from George Mason University named Mason Winterguard, and they're doing it this year which is really cool cuz my name is mason too. :P

Its cool no hard feelings :) Sorry sometimes you cant hear peoples tones over the internet. But I got a issue of WGI Focus from Fall 2007 which has really helped cuz it had the amount of people at Dayton and a big artlice about the history of WGI. I have found some news articles from DCI member interviews and such so yea. Everythings going great! Thanks for the help :) Oh just one question I wasnt sure. Was the first winterguard an all male guard? I cant find any info on the very first colorguard/winterguard -Mason

Hey so im writing a persuasive speech in my english class and im in the last class of the day so all the good topics were gone. So i decided to write why the performaning arts should be considered a sport. I need history and like average hours practicing and money spent and injuries and stuff! I cant find like any good sites on history and all that stuff! So if yall know any good sites or have any history you know of, LET ME KNOW! Mason

yall keep telling me these stories but yet im getting no where how much do plane tickets cost? do i just send out a mass email to everyone on the site saying hey can i grab a ride with you to Jersey surf or crown? seeee yall arent telling me how to get in touch with people i have now emailed corps directors and asked them and im waiting for a reply but someone said i should go up to the camp and meet ppl then i can start riding with them...........THATS MY WHOLE PROBLEM! i cant get to camps

thanks yall so much but you see i have no problem flying or taking a bus but how much would that cost cuz the way my parents act is like they arent paying for anything UNLESS i make it so all the gas/audition/food money would be dealt with me until i hopefully make it how much do they usually cost lol and i have no problem showering with other people lol its just the fact saying hey can i take a 7 hour drive with you? lol idk about you but i would be kinda wierded out i mean id like to talk to them on the phone at least get what im saying?

see i wouldnt mind carpooling but i dont know where/how to find one, i just dont wanna message someone on here and be like hey can i ride with you even though im a complete stranger and lol so i tend to enlarge things that really arent haha i was just going off memory but they wouldnt mind me traveling the country its just that i cant drive up there by myself and they wouldnt have a problem with me goin i just cant drive that far by myself and its not that they dont want me to march its just that there to lazy to drive me

yea i live in Southern Virginia about 20 mins south of Richmond. But see i wouldnt mind driving but im only 16 and my parents wont let me drive that far and if i wasnt scared my car would fall into a million pieces while i drive down the highway ;p lol and my parents arent the most supporitive so they wont go with me and they wont drive me so i would have to drive myself but like i said if it was only a few hours then it wouldnt be a problem ;)
