Hmmmm - interesting!!! My son texted me last night after their show; he was so excited, as was the entire corps, because they had what they felt was an awesome performance. Staff was excited too. We, on the Blue Stars forum, however were a little worried about their excitement!! Here's why: Every time they've said they had an awesome show this season, their scores haven't been so great. But when they've said they had a bad show, their scores have gone up considerably!! Go figure!!!! Last night was my son's last regular season show - very emotional for him - AND FOR ME!!!! Looking forward to Blue-mington!!

I remember my son telling me about housing with Glassmen last year and how they got to hang out with some of the drummers. He told me they were really cool - and coming from him, that's high praise!!! The respect that these kids learn in drum corps is something that will serve them well throughout their lives!!!

Mr. Mathis wasn't the only one who thought that Blue Stars should or could have beaten SCV. If you listened to the live feed for awards last night, when they announced the Blue Stars score, you could hear someone say that he thought they would have beaten SCV tonight. So I don't believe anyone's getting carried away.

I'd like to add my thanks, too! That was so cool to be able to hear scores live!!!!

As I was watching the video of the Blue Stars, I was thinking what a great deal the Fan Network has been since the beginning of the season, even at $69!!!!!!! Hats off to whoever came up with the idea!

Live reports on the Blue Stars forum so I'm pretty sure he'll be providing scores for us, too!!!
