  1. I marched in Velvet Knights for five years, ending up as drum major in 1978. But I would not have joined them in the '80s. I didn't like the VK after they became the Bridgemen.
  2. Blue Devils B. I remember seeing the same kid in the C corps last year. The guy is maybe ten years old and barely as tall as his rifle but he's got some serious game.
  3. In my five years with the Velvet Knights (1974 to 1978) we never once had a finished product for the first shows.

  12. Please don't give the Mandarin's management any illusions. The problem is NOT that the kids are singing out of tune. The problem is that they are singing.
  13. I wanted to see a drum corps and instead they brought out a choir. Whoever is running the Mandarins should be embarrassed.
