1. Carolina Crown = All i have to say is they have a 99.99% chance of taking the title!! 2. The Cadets = Love the concept love the show!! will battle with Crown for 1st and 2nd. 3. The Cavaliers = WOW. Cavaliers Really. new staff shows very bad. didnt like the show. really do yall need to spin 100 rifles? 4. The Blue Devils = I will admit finally that the 2009 show was EPIC. and you follow with this. really.... i figured it would be better. 5. Teal Sound = Impressive show for a first year World Class Corps!! Keep up the good work. it will pay off. 6. Pioneer = impressive. thats all i have to say is impressive. 7. Crossmen = love the music. didnt see it with drill, but there are some issues!! 8. The Academy = be on the look out. they are sounding really good. 9. Bluecoats - havent heard the music but saw some of the drill. this looks like it could push them up some!! 10. Madison Scouts - Really looking forward to this show. cant wait to see an all retro Madison!! 11. Spirit - Saw Clips and photos. read a review. Push for it and you can get to saturday night. BTW Winner for best new uni.

I Love Spirit's new uni. They look awesome on the field and they look good up close one on one!! I love them. They are very radical compared to anything spirit has worn. They will def have a new identity in this uniform and in the new style of show they are doing!! Great things from Spirit this year!! Top 12!! i think they got a darn good shot at it

Well.... In my honest opinion i think with the style of show spirit is doing i think it will be well received. The Cavaliers are a seasoned corps and a championship caliber corps. From what i have heard the Cavies have some musical issues within Harrison's Dream and Smile. I dont think they will score below a 73.000 but i do think Spirit will be well rehearsed and alot better than in years Past. I think Spirit will beat Glassmen and Teal Sound. Teal will prolly score in the low to mid 60's cause of the type of show they are doing and the use of electronics and guitars. They arent the full compliment of 150 and they have a small guard. It is their first World Class Show and their first year in World Class. So I wish them the best of luck and much success this year. I love the show and it is awesome!!

So Spirit can't come out and completely shock every one and the judges and open with a 70.000 or above? I think they can do it. it has been tight lipped from Spirit all year. very very tight lipped. I think they are going to turn heads. People say the biggest improvement from Spirit this year is Visual. that has been what has been hurting them for the past few years starting in 08. They have had an impressive Brass line and percussion line. Guard and visual has been what is making Spirit suffer. (The programming Choice in 08 didnt help either with the members questioning what the show was to be)

Rooting for the baby blue to at least break a 70.000+ tonight!! havent heard anything about the uniform but from the people that have been talking Spirit has a fire under them this year and they are performing! Teal Sounds show seems pretty epic. saw the performance from Friends and Family and am eagerly awaiting to see this performance Live!! Go Baby Blue and Team Teal. Rooting for you guys tonight!!

Listened to the original Pieces for Spirit's 2010 Program!! Sounds really exciting! can't wait to hear what spirit does with it!! Here is to the staff for making awesome decisions!!

So it sounds like Spirit has their act together this year!! I am very excited to hear / see Spirit's show this summer! it is a completely different route that has never really been taken for Spirit. Sounds like the designers, new staff and location change were good for the corps! When the Show Poster was put out... it looked like something that a top 6 corps would design. Then came the show selections!! I am so impressed with the news that i have been hearing about Spirit for 2010. I think they will be a very very tough competitor and will def turn heads!! Loving the musical selections!! they all do have one thing in common. each piece represents something iconic. cant wait to see Spirit this year!! new uni's and from what i have heard a new outlook on making a statement and coming back to the top 12

I dont read where there was actually a director change. if i understood the article correctly, Kevin smith will be the Director of the corps still and Coates is Just the Executive Director of CCI... and Smith is now the President of the BOD some one please clarify

Im going to finals week this year! i will spend monies on NON G7 Corps. I will not support ANY G7 Corps. No G7 Director with the Exception of Hopkins replied to the e-mail i sent all of them. all hopkins did was blow a smoke screen. DCI has yet to respond but they are probably swammped with e-mails and calls. i hope to hear something in 18/24 hours as their site states. I dont think i will renew my fan network account due to me going to finals this year. only a few corps actually put things on there on a reg basis and they are G7 corps. I don't mind spending my money on DCI or Non G7 corps. they deserve it. G7 corps are being greedy and killing drum corps. Hopefully the 16 other World Class Corps Directors will e-mail me responses to the e-mail that is going out that i will post here later. Then hopefully with a little digging some documents and notes can be posted for every one to see

Ok... So with the new G7 proposal.... what will become of DCI and the lower tear 16 corps. The Open Class corps that aren't attached to a World Class Corps? 3 New Open Class Corps were approved for 2010 and 1 reemerging corps was approved. What happens to the 15 corps that are World Class and the newest World Class corps that can't vote yet. What will this mean for DCI as an organization..... the DCW Article mentions that the "G7" corps did something to make DCI's DAN ACHESON - CEO - job unsure. What does this mean. Will there be an announcement made for this. will there be an interim CEO. Please god don't let it be Hopkins..... I think it will be a travesty to see this happen. I was a fan of The Cadets, The Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard, Blue Devils, Carolina Crown and Bluecoats. After reading this I will definitely be going to DCI World Championship Week for 2010. I will not support these corps while i am there however. I will no longer pay for a fan network subscription. I will no longer follow the G7 corps. I will make sure all my attention/monies is spent on the corps that ARE NOT involved in this. I am so glad that Mr. Hopkins and Co. think that DCI is in such bad shape or in need of restructuring. what happens to all the corporate sponsorships that DCI has acquired. HARD ROCK signed with them for 2010 and now this comes out. I hope in all seriousness that this gets forwarded to them and they pull their sponsorship after the conclusion of 2010 Tour. This is supposed to be an organization for the betterment of our Youth. not for the Directors of the 7 corps to make money off of them and get big heads and think that they are the best of the best. What does this mean to all the young adults that are competing in 2010. they read DCP and DCW. they see what their leadership is doing to their organizations and their fans. What happens to Teal Sound, Spirit, Crossmen, Glassmen, Blue Stars, Boston Crusaders, Madison Scouts, Mandarins, Pacific Crest, Troopers, Pioneer, The Academy, Cascades, Blue Knights, Jersey Surf, & Colts... They aren't even in the "G7" Circle..... What happens to all the Open Class Corps... With the exception of the corps that are tied in with a World Class Corps. 3 of them being Cadet corps to G7 corps. I am taken back by this. I would like to see and read this 60 page POS. see what all we arent getting fed by the randomness of the 2 different articles. IMO I really like the way DCW made it look like it is the better less sugar coated version. IF ANYONE has a way to get their hands on Said 60 page thing. please feel free to post it
