Jeff Prosperie is a joke for a DCI judge. I hope the Scouts staff chewed him a new arsehole at critique!

Jeff Prosperie should be ashamed of himself & embarrased for not knowing what the heck he is doing. Percussion judge #1 scores a 15.8...and Prosperie scores a 14.7 No other corp had a spread in percussion like this. Prosperies 14.7 put the Scouts in 11th place out of 12. Prosperies score is what kept the Scouts out of the night show tonight. I hope Spanos & the Scouts drum staff leave San Antonio with a piece of Prosperies ###. It just goes to show you that just because a person was a good player doesn't mean he'll make a good judge.

This statment is 100% incorrect.

It's sad because most judges pre-determine where each corps should be scored based on their previous caption scores...so whether a corps has a good or bad performance, their caption score wont change much. Judges don't have the guts to reward a good performance, or to penalize a bad performance. Just look at the recaps from any show...you'll see the corps various captions very close across the board. The days of a drum line like the 1977 Oakland Crusaders winning drums in prelims when the corps misses finals are gone. Bringing back the tick system & reducing the guard & visual scores would tak the ridiculous subjectivity out of the judging process.

I agree 100% Talk about a formula crum corp, it is the Cavaliers. Do the horns even play half of the show? Do they everr move & play? I want Crown to win!

I neverr thought I would see the day when the Madison Scouts didn't have a kick ### rifle line...

Every corps and every caption should score their highest score to date in their most recent show...

Escept Madison is getting killed in percussion. Scores are not good.

It's simple really...change the weighting so that brass, percussion & GE account for a greater percentage of the total score...put another way, reduce the visual & color guard points. Hey...thats similar to the scoring system in place back when drum corp reached its peak in popularity!

The Iguana = Madison in DCI??? Alrighty then..... problem is the Scouts won't make DCI finals...for the second year in a row...so new uniforms & staff again next year??? Gosh I hope they can get back on track.

Ahhh yes...modern drum corps...makes no sense to me...
