  4. This is probably one of the best posts that has ever graced this forum. It made my morning! Now I remember why I spend so much time arguing with my non drum corps friends who are music majors about why it means so much to me.
  5. Teal Sound from Jacksonville, Florida unveiled today the first glimpse at their design team for 2012. They announced that Robert W. Smith will join their ranks as Brass Arranger and Music Designer. In addition, John Campese returns to the design team as a Program and Artistic designer, expanding on his role from 2011. “I am thrilled at the design team that is beginning to materialize this year for Teal Sound,” stated Joel Moody, Program Coordinator and an Administrator for Teal Sound. We have some new faces joining the team this year – combine those with some returning creative talent and Teal Sound is poised to bring another exciting show to the field in 2012.” The remaining design team announcements will be made this week - stay tuned! 10. With so much discussion of electronics involving Teal Sound I want to ask what people think of the corps its self with out necessarily talking about electronics. Though I know since it is a big part of the corps now it might be hard not to. So what do you think of the corps, the direction its taking and its future role in DCI? For the record yes I am associated with the corps and thats why I'm asking. Whether or not you agree with the direction the corps is taking I'd like to hear people's opinions.
  11. Interesting observations... I think everyone will be quite surprised with how the violin and EWI fit into the show.
