Sorry for all of our production changes and stuff but we've decided to reserve our latin production for another time. We've decided to go with a show we had for a while. Here's our new Winter Production. "Jazz Roots" Selections include "The First Circle"- By Pat Metheny "A Child is Born"- By Thadeus Jones "Birdland"- By Joe Zawinel Our Summer production will still be Journey and we changed our 4th Movement which is in the last post.

So Any Opinions?

We are making a slight change to both of our future programs. For "La Fiesta Cubana", we've decided to give each movement a name like our other production Movement 1- "Day of Celebration"- Cuban Overture Movement 2- "Dance" - Recuerdos Movement 3- "Fun in the Sun and the end of the Festival"- Quien Sabe For "Photograph" We've decide to add an introduction before movement 1 and change the name of the 3rd Movement so now "Photograph" is Intro- "Photograph" - Any Way You Want It/Don't Stop Believing which will also be hinted throughout the show Mvt. 1- "Complement" - Stone in Love Mvt. 2- "Embrace" - Open Arms Mvt. 3- "Worlds Apart" - Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) Mvt. 4- "Reunion" - After All These Years (Off the new album "Revelation")

While it doesn't make much sense to have Avengers and Winter Park Hurricanes in the same town the Hurricanes decided to move down the road to beautiful Oveido and now are going by the name of the Oviedo Hurricanes. We are still a division 2 corps. With the next two seasons approaching fast we've decided to go ahead and think of our next two shows Our Winter Production is "La Fiesta Cubana" Selections include -"Cuban Overture" by George Gershwin -"Recuerdos" as performed by Stan Kenton and his jazz band -"Quien Sabe" also performed by Stan Kenton Our Summer Production is a love story type show "Photograph: A Story of a friendship, music from Journey" Each movement tells a story about the photograph -Mvt. 1 Complement - "Stone In Love" -Mvt. 2 Embrace - "Open Arms" -Mvt. 3 Separation- "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" -Mvt. 4 Reunion- "When you love a Woman" Hope you enjoy our programs!

I Think Madison Scouts 1985 and 1988 define what Drum Corps is. Also Phantom Regiment's 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2008 are good shows as well.

What was the Name of the Ballad in the Blue Stars show? I think I know it but at the same time I don't.

I did pretty much any Scout fan would do. I wore my Scouts T-Shirt all day, I listened to shows the 70s, 80s, 90s, and this decade, I even made my ringtone the Scouts doing Malaga. When the news broke to me I jumped and screamed all around accidentally breaking my phone...I cared more about their placement rather than my 80$ phone. This is a little corny but it was "La Noche De La Iguana" on 8/8/08!

I love the Madison Scouts ( I'm going up to Madison this Winter). Madison's show this year reminded me of watching 88 which won the gold that year. Scouts are my favorite corps and I was soooooo happy to see them finally push ahead of the Crossmen last night. I hope they keep the momentum going. Go Madison Scouts!!!
