Wow, from everything I am hearing and what I heard over the cell phone, BD just had their best show of the year. Crowd gave a standing "O" before show was done. #13 BABY!!

I am listening over the cell phone, and getting the play by play, BD just blew last nights show out of the water!! Standing O before the show was over!!!

I think BD will be better than their "off night" last night. Will be close to 99.0 but not over.

Bad thing about BD's blog, is that even though it is great, we are just "hearing about it"!! I want to acutally watch and hear it. I think I and evreryone else that has marched drum corps have deserved atleast the opportunity to pay to participate in Finals by watching it. And like you said, it should make DCI even more money too!

Yeah, me and my wife just had our 2nd kid two weeks ago, so we cannot travel even if we wanted to. I would atleast like the option of paying "TICKET PRICE" to see it broadcasted!!!

I just think narration in the Cadets last year and this year took away from the talented corp's they had on the field. Listening and watching them, it was obvious they had some of the most talent on the field in DCI! I felt that the talent of the corps was taking a back seat to the narration, and all that talent was being wasted.

Watched it on the Fan Network, it was great and in your face!!! Very entertaining and sounded very good!

I understand that DCI doesn't want to loose revenue by people watching online or in the theatres instead of buying Finals tickets. However, you can take care of all of us that cannot attend Finals by letting us purchase the rights to watch online or in the theatre, and make even MORE REVENUE. This doesn't make too much sense. And it is not taking care of us who have contributed a lot of time, marching and $$$$ (DCI Fan Network Subscritions, tickets throughout the year, souvies, etc.). Opinions? What's it going to take to let us see Finals over the web or in the theatres?

I hear ya, and I respect your opinion. The only true caption that Regiment owns this year is drums, and MAYBE G.E.. It's appearant the BD is better in almost all other captions. That is why they are winning. Just because someone has a good crowd response, their second and third placed other captions shouldn't be ignored. All I am saying, is BD is cleaner, has a better hornline, and a better guard. I think Regiment will win drums. BD has a very difficult drum book with very hard drill that they have run out of time to get clean enough for a drum title. That is the only thing that I can point out as being negative this year.

Yeah, and I keep hearing "Regiment is getting the best crowd response so they shouyld win". Since when did Crowd Response = WIN?? If so, Scouts should have won 95,96,97 just to name a few. "Crowd response" is not a "judged caption". Winning, is doing as well as you can in each of the captions, while trying to be entertaining as possible. Noone does that better than the Blue Devils EVERY SINGLE YEAR!!

Just because he thinks that BD may win?? Is it not a fair question, that when BD didn't have a great show last night and STILL won, that if they perform great tonight as usual that their score will go up also? I don't think that is unreasonable.

I wasn't saying you personally hate BD. I am just saying that BD has been nearly undefeated all year long. They are obviously doing something right. They may not have the crowd reaction Regiment does, but that doesn't mean that automatically makes Regiment more deserving to win. That's all I am saying.
