Sorry thought it was Saturday ...Had to be the first to ask...on another thread they debated beer and in particular Genny Cream Ale..my predictions 1st place...Molson Canadian ( smuggled from Canada, not the imported stuff) 98.75 2nd place...Labatt's Blue ( see above) 98.25 3rd place...Molson Golden (see above) 98.00 4th place...Budweiser ( not the crapp made in Canada..USA stuff) 97.25 5th place...Genessee ( original, not cream ale) 97.00 6th place...Rolling Rock (just don't have the one that sat in your car's back window from Scranton PA to Kingston Ontario..not good!!!) 86.00 7th place..Genny Cream Ale (very close to Rolling Rock..but not in the above state) 80.95 8th, 9th, and 10th...bathroom break ( I mean rain delay)

All the corps do their talkng on the field..and quite frankly I agree with you..but is there any intelligent life on DCP??? stupid is going on this thread and showing how really big your ego is!! A relative of mine tried out for a certain DCI corps but did not make it. yet I felt this fella had a ton of talent. Anyway someone mentioned earlier about making a certain drumline, playing with more lines than anyone posting here and generally being..hmmm stupid!! I told such relative that although he didn't make the line he might like to know that there are probably (and I am only guessing) if not hundreds perhaps thousands of kids out there that can drum their proverbial ### off!! . So this weekend when he gives his salute, please give him a warm welcome...it's one of the few times he gets a bit of recognition for all that he has done. Kudos to "JJ" and kudos to you Alan for recognizing the tremendous contribution that your friend has made to your org and drum corps in general. All of us in our respective families (Corps) have that special person, organizer, whatever that has gone the extra mile to create what is truly a wonderful family of friends , and who(m) has promoted their corps and passed on their knowledge and talent to others to make what I guess...on this site..makes it truly a drum corps planet....DCA has an insurmountable number of people like John Johnson..who strive to make this great activity stronger and better each year....My hat is off to all who came before and all those that will come after.....certainly puts armchair quarterbacks like me in my place...Enjoy this week-end you week-end warriors...you deserve the best weather and the best time..Good Luck to All!! Yah see I used to get in trouble on here too...with the likes of Shadow,good old Sal Rosenburg, and even a friend of mine called Adam. We all have such emotion for this activity that sometimes it carries us away until we can't help but respond..doesn't matter..we are all good people..with emotions and legitimate opinions....and yes Don like you I am old and wonder some times what happened to the drum corps world..and yes like you Don I don't appreciate some of the comments...but I respect you and your comments...and I think that at the end of the day...really I do...the love of music...the fact that DCA is still around...and I will tell you this........In Kingston, Ontario, Canada there have been hundreds of kids that have benefitted by being part of the organization we call Drum and Bugle Corps..so for all the sniping and I don't mean you Don...and whatever.....music has save d a lot of us from becoming ...whatever??? I love drum corps...I love music....and I love the kids that grow up to march in all age...good luck to all at DCA"s this week-end..my thoughts and my prayers are with you all for a safe journey and a fun and excellent week-end. On Friday get Peashey to put all corps names in a hat and begin to draw....hell it ain't rocket science.....everyone... or at least many say it doesn't matter when your corps is slotted or when your gate time is or whatever??? 1'st on last on??? now tell me truly all you wise and wonderful experienced people of the DCA world...and before you get your whatever in an uproar I am just joshing you all..cause I really do respect some of your opinions....... after all there is a lot of drumcorps hours amongst us all.....last? first? it will be exciting!!
