  1. Robert Stranges may have come to the Kingsmen in '66 with the other Midshipmen like, Jimmy Gagliano, Chris "Hawkeye" Lella, Louie Cortese, Howard Irving, etc.
  2. A good clue but like I said... NOBODY will get this. I'm not sure I even remember where he came from. Possibly Midshipmen.
  3. Wow, I haven't seen this guy since 1967. I bet nobody gets this one. Nancy, where are you finding these?
  4. Nancy, if you , in fact, have a picture of me in pink shorts, by all means post it. I don't recall ever owning them though.
  5. Yes sir. 1965-6 instructors were Jack Meehan, Johnny Guarino and Carl Ruocco. About 7 of us left in 66 to join the NY Kingsmen.
  6. Lee and her sister Terry, came from St Marys Cadets from Woodside, where I came from.
  7. DS... quite common last name. Got married to Lee Digiacomo sometime after 68. Never heard from either since.
  8. Nancy , where are you getting these NY Kingsmen pics? I marched there for 2-1/2 years and don't have a single photo of me, except for some long distance shots where it could be anybody. I/m beginning to think that maybe I never marched there at all.
  9. Glen , are you making a statement here? I'm quite sure that St. Lucys was all male up till about 68-69. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  10. Not too difficult to figure the Corps on this one. I believe he came from the Selden crew also but not 100% sure. He Did, thougfh, live on Long Island.
  11. Tim , that's what I meant by "marginally" related to you.
  12. #412 Had a drum corps brother that has since passed on.
  13. Glen, I can't believe you remember the coat hanger incident. Jack was shutting off the ignition and causing backfires making all of us laugh..... until the entire exhaust system was blown off the car in the middle of nowhere. The passengers were myself, Fran and John Mucciolo and of course the driver, Jack. I was elected to crawl under the car with the coat hanger to tie up the remaining piping. The next day was the Dream and we showed up with a quite loud ride.
  14. Richie marched one year (65) in the old Bronx Kingsmen before they changed in '66.
  15. Richie Hellenbrecht. Came to NY Kingsmen when they changed from Bronx (Irwin Post) Kingsmen in '66, later marched (i believe ) with Brassmen for a year or two.

  17. I believe he migrated to St. Ritas for a few years after the end of the Kingsmen in 68.
  18. marched the entire show in a normal spot with a prosthetic leg in two different Drum Corps.
